We’ve recently blogged about the revolution in the publishing industry and e-readers for our favorite e-books, especially for summertime reading. Now all over the news is the fact that Borders is liquidating – closing their remaining 399 stores. No more Borders. No more Kobo.

NPR’s “Monkey See” put it all into a nutshell we think. Do you think big box bookstores and “real-book” publishing can survive? What about your local “indie” bookstore? Doomed, as well?

If you loved your local Borders, use this #thankuborders hashtag to say thanks.
