Hey batter, batter!

The Boston Red Sox Baseball Academy Summer Camps’ mission is to ensure each camper has the experience of a lifetime and leaves the camps as both a stronger baseball player and a better leader off the field. They achieve this with a professional coaching staff with extensive experience at the youth, high school, collegiate and professional coaching ranks, and include teachers and educators with outstanding backgrounds in working with and motivating children. Instructors teach the fundamentals of the game and proper mechanics which are the building blocks for successful baseball players. Through all-camper assemblies and daily individual and teamwork challenges, staff teaches core values of leadership, teamwork, and effort.

Baby boomer kids and grandkids ages 5-13 are grouped into divisions by age. The Instructional League is for age 5; Rookie League for ages 6-7; Single A for age 8; Double AA for age 9; Triple AAA for ages 10-11; and, Major League is for ages 12-13. Academy participants enjoy on-field instruction and games, have exclusive access and privileges during their week at camp including meeting a current Red Sox player, a personally autographed photo of a Red Sox player, exclusive all-access VIP tour of Fenway Park, an exclusive player scouting report from the professional coaching staff and Official Boston Red Sox uniform including jersey, socks, pants, and baseball cap!

They spend time with Wally the Green Monster, attend a Camp Family Reunion Night at Fenway Park where campers are recognized on the playing field prior to the game, attend a camper of the week awards such as throwing a first pitch during a Red Sox home game and much more. So very cool! Family orientation days are available to facilitate the process of the uniform handout while giving everyone an opportunity to meet some of their outstanding coaches.

Camps run from 9:00am-3:00pm, however they do offer additional programs. Early Work morning care is available Monday through Friday from 7:30am until 9:00am. Campers receive additional batting practice, fitness training and participate in fun competitions. Extended Day afternoon care is offered from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Campers can participate in additional skill work and competitions or choose fun outdoor relaxing activities.
