Baby boomer kids and grandkids will appreciate the highly flexible and convenient mentorships which range from time management/study skills, the grad school application process, general career/industry advice, interview advice/practice and everything in between. Mentees can have multiple mentors and they can choose from short-term or long-term mentorships which can be done in person, over the phone or on the online-messaging platform. Mentees forge life-long friendships with their mentors. They learn from diverse perspectives and experiences while gaining the all important confidence that allows them to set higher goals, take risks, and achieve at higher levels. They have direct access to top-notch powerful resources within their major or profession to help along the way, and mentees can apply what they have learned and start to put it to use at the Who’s Hiring tab!

Volunteer mentors are professionals from all industries and include working professionals, job seekers, and retirees. Mentors make a difference in a young person’s life and enhance their own leadership, management, and coaching skills at the same time. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer mentor, current opportunities are in the fields of web design/development, video animation, graphic design, and marketing/public relations. We baby boomers say go for it!
