If you are anywhere near Lake Tahoe September 17th and 18th, you will want tickets to this incredible event. How often can you become one with art and nature on a day hike? The video tells the story beautifully.

This is the eighth year that founder, Nancy Tieken Lopez , has collaborated with local non-profits InnerRhythms Dance Theatre, Truckee Donner Land Trust, KidZone Museum, and Arts For the Schools to produce this extraordinary event. Nancy works closely with choreographer, and Executive Director of InnerRhythms Dance Theatre, Elizabeth Archer, to create a 2.5 mile interactive art walk where the participants become part of the experience. “They are part of the moving art installations in the environment with several sites along the hike that showcase different music and dance styles.”

Hopefully, installations like this will take off nationwide. Let us know if such an event exists near your home, or favorite vacation spot. Baby boomers of all shapes and sizes are expected to turn out for this unique experience that marries art and nature so beautifully. Please comment if you are able to attend!
