What will the New Year bring? Great things!

The world did not end and the horizon is before us. What will you make of it?

There are so many great choices to make. Here are a few our team will be exploring:

  1. Be very active
  2. Live more sustainably – make green choices.
  3. Challenge our cognitive skills (more brain games and intellectual stimulation)
  4. Be fiscally responsible

That’s it – four things. In the past we have offered suggestions on some aspect of each of the above, and we will continue to do so in the future. We are pleased to have been sharing useful information to boomers for the last three years. We hope that in 2013, we will hear even more from you and cast our net further to reach your friends and colleagues.

These past few weeks, we have had a focus on #1 – being more active. We have enjoyed skiing over the holidays and in this photo we are with our eighty-year-old aunt. She has two new knees in the last few years and skis over 50 days a year (down from 100). Aunt Joan is a remarkable example of aging well, not just gracefully, but incredibly actively. We literally chased her down the mountain run after run.

We wish you and your family a prosperous 2013 that includes successes in the four choices above, and any other resolutions you have may have. We are all capable of choosing well and doing well – our very best to you!
