Heart Of Flowers

February is the time to focus on heart health and on love.

Heart disease is still America’s No. 1 killer and remains the No. 1 killer among women. At some point in each of our lives, we’ll all be touched by someone with heart disease. Getting involved in the fight on any level will help save lives. If you haven’t seen this Elizabeth Banks video, which is becoming a classic, it’s a (heart) show stopper! Be sure to take part in this year’s American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women event in your community. It’s not just baby boomers, but all agers who want to live well and long with strong hearts.

We all need strong hearts pumping with love. However, Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be just a one day celebration of love. Why not put your money where your heart is. To get a little love, you’ve got to give a little love. So easy. So rewarding.

Here’s to a strong, healthy heart and a memorable Valentine’s Day!
